mri

by jubbie, Apr 24, 2008 10:48AM
I am about to have my first mri on Monday. I just recently was dx with NF1 at the age of 41. Recently I have had ringing in my ears since the 4th of April. Nonstop. At times I have that combined with what best describes tension headaches. I have no trauma or stress related issues that could relate to this. I also have some what I believe to be neurofibromas on my head in the back.  I have had these for sometime. Only now do I think I know what they are. For as long as I can remember I get blurred vision at times. If I cover one eye I can see normally. It only lasts for about a minute and goes away. I can feel it coming on. It starts in the back of my head.

I am really scared about the mri. With the above issues combined with NF I am afraid they will tell me I have a tumor. Will I find out quickly the results??

Thank you
Julia
