I have suffered from stomach and bowel problms for 10 years. I have recently had 3 colonscopies which have shown systems of colitis. I have been on asacol for over 12 months and the colitis is in remission but I still suffer from wind through the stomach/intestines which can be noisey and exaggerated following large cosumption of alcolol. I have tried anti spasmodics and changing the diet but nothing seems to work, it seems to go away fro a couple of days then return no matter what I eat. Any ideas what causes this
