Presycopal attacks and lower LDL values

by BEN65, Apr 24, 2008 09:38PM
I am 42 years Male. Since 1992 i had recurrent  pre sycopes.I had been extensively investigated and treated and the conclusion has been reached that i am suffering from a severe form of VASO VAGAl SYNDROME.
Tilt test was done in August 2004 and was positive for bradycardia and hypotension. During the the test my heart rate was droped down to 32 beats for minute and hypotension with an unrecordable blod pressure during the infusion of Isoprel 0.5 mgper minute. Having had positive Tilt test for both bradycardia and hypotension, i had been implanted  with a dual chamber pacemaker with rate drop response function. Even after implanting pacemaker, hower it has not abolished my symptoms moreover  had a single episode of collapse(fainting) in the batroom in 2006 .
Secondly my LDL levels are droping down drastically. In March 2007 my LIPID PROFILE reports  are as under:

                       MARCH 2007 LIPID PROFILE REPORT

HDL CHOLESTEROL-------------------------------------------------------------25 mg/dl
LDL CHOLESTEROL-------------------------------------------------------------24 mg/dl
VLDL------------------------------------------------------------------------------------66 mg/dl
SEREM CHOLESTEROL------------------------------------------------------115 mg/dl
SEREM TRIGLYCERIDES-----------------------------------------------------334 mg/dl
LDL CHOLESTEROL/HDL CHOLESTEROL RATIO-------------------0.9
TOTAL CHOLESTERO/HDL CHOLESTEROL RATIO-----------------4.6

                         DECEMBER 2007 LIPID PROFILE REPORT

HDL CHOLESTEROL-------------------------------------------------------------24 mg/dl
LDL CHOLESTEROL-------------------------------------------------------------41 mg/dl
VLDL------------------------------------------------------------------------------------53 mg/dl
SEREM CHOLESTEROL------------------------------------------------------118 mg/dl
SEREM TRIGLYCERIDES-----------------------------------------------------265 mg/dl
LDL CHOLESTEROL/HDL CHOLESTEROL RATIO-------------------1.7
TOTAL CHOLESTERO/HDL CHOLESTEROL RATIO-----------------4.9

                                APRIL 2008 LIPID PROFILE REPORT

HDL CHOLESTEROL-------------------------------------------------------------39 mg/dl
LDL CHOLESTEROL-------------------------------------------------------------14 mg/dl
VLDL------------------------------------------------------------------------------------62 mg/dl
SEREM CHOLESTEROL------------------------------------------------------115 mg/dl
SEREM TRIGLYCERIDES-----------------------------------------------------310 mg/dl
LDL CHOLESTEROL/HDL CHOLESTEROL RATIO-------------------0.3
TOTAL CHOLESTERO/HDL CHOLESTEROL RATIO-----------------2.0

My question is Why iam getting frequent giddiness episodes almost daily 5-7 times and why my LDL leves are getting down and down drastically. Is there any significance or risk factor involved in it?
Please let me know elobarately.
Thank you
BEN
