MRI Scan of the Lumbar Spine with/without contrast

I have had 2 back surgeries where the surgeon went in and removed the same disc that had ruptured.  I have found no relief and it has gotten worse.  I just had another MRI done and my physician is out of town for a few weeks so I can not find out what the report means.  Any help would be appreciated.  Here is what the report says:

TECHNIQUE: Sagittal and axial views were obtained with T1 and T2 imaging techniques including sagittal and axial T1 images following intravenous injection 15 ml of Magnevist.

FINDINGS: Sagittal views reveal minimal disc bulge at L5-S1 disc with some marrow signal changes in the vertebral bodies adjacent to this disc, consistent with discogenic edema.  Postoperative scar tissue is noted at this level on the left. Sagittal T2 images reveal signal loss from L4-5 and L5-S1 discs consistent with degeneration and desiccation.

The conus medullaris appears normal.
Axial views reveal postoperative changes at L5-S1 on the left with scar tissue to the left of the thecal sac extending through the left neuroforamen. This scar tisssue enhances on postcontrast views with no evidence of herniated disc fragments. T2 axial views reveal fluid signal in the facet joints consistent with synovitis.

IMPRESSION:  Degenerative disc disease at L4-5 and L5-S1 with minimal bulge at the L5-S1 disc.
Postoperative changes at L5-S1 on the left with enhancing scar tissue.
Synovitis involving the facet joints.

CAN ANYONE PLEASE TELL ME WHAT THIS REPORT MEANS??  I really do not want to wait until my physician gets back from his trip to go over this with me.  I would truly appreciate it.

Sincerely,
Kim
