having a baby after a stroke

I am 30 years old and had a stroke 2 years ago when I was 28.  I was pregnant but couldn't keep it because I had to take Lovinox twice a day and then eventually Coumadin and they were concerned that I could have another stroke and the medicine would harm the baby. I didn't have high blood pressure, high cholesterol and have never had a family history of strokes.  They found out that a blood vessel tore in my neck which caused the stroke. My right arm was partially affected by the stroke leaving a little weakness in it at the time. My right hand was totally sleep. I could move my arm but it seemed like my nerves and muscles were weak in my arm. I went through rehabilitation for about 6 weeks and now I am totally rehabilitated. If something frightens me though, my hand shakes like I'm nervous but other than that I learned how to write again and my hand and arm are OK. The doctors don't know how the blood vessel tore in my neck. My Neurologist released me from care after months of seeing him. I have since moved to another state and I just found out that I am pregnant, but this my first pregnancy since my stroke. I am really scared and wanted to know should I be worried? Is it safe to have a baby? Do I need to find a neurologist along with my OB?

Hello dear,
If you are fine and you dont take any medications then you can continue your pregnancy but you should consult your neurologist and your OB and they both should work together in your case so that with good understanding of both the doctors you get  proper treatment.
