not sure if ive contacted the right department but for the last 9 -10 years after eating ive been bringing up small amounts of food almost immediately after i eat my meals , never actually fully vomiting but its reaching my mouth.  my eating habits havent changed over this period either.

not too concerned about it as its not affecting my eating or day to day life but my partner is slightly concerned.

wondering if you could try and explain this for me??

There is a muscle at the end of the esophagus, beginning of the stomach, that allows food to go into the stomach; and when it closes and it keeps the food in the stomach so undigested food and acid does not go back up. Undigested food coming up the esophagus is exposing the esophagus to stomach acid and it can become damaged from the acid. May be the muscle weakened or could be something else. You need to go to your doctor to be examined, find out why it is happening, and be treated.
