Additional adjuvant therapy

Hello-
I am looking for an opinion on whether I should follow my mastectomy with chemotherapy.  My cancer is invasive ductal, ER/PR neg, HER2 pos.  I had three very small tumors within one 9mm diameter circle.  The largest tumor was 3.6mm.  No lymph node involvement.  I know the size and negative lymph nodes are good, but the HER2 would indicate an agressive and more likely to recur cancer.  I have differing opinions from several doctors.  I am 43 and in good physical condition. What would you recommend?

Thank you

Dear Ray515, We cannot give a specific recommendation for an individual case over this forum.  A medical oncologist would be the appropriate person to have this discussion with.  They would discuss all of the findings putting them in context of your individual situation and make recommendations.

Please please do the Herceptin, I just wrote to you with your other question. I had the Herceptin in 2003 and because of an in breast recurrence my Doctor suggested it again in 2006. I met FIVE women THAT DID NOT have the Herceptin the first time around  (they were all diagnosed around 2001/2002) and they are all dead now. It went to another organ. Her 2 is aggressive. You don't lose your hair with it, you don't feel bad at all with it, it saves lives. Please take it, your best chance of a cure is now not after it goes to another organ. I took a Claritn tablet bfore I went in because I didn't like taking Benedryl and honestly it is NO BIG DEAL. I thank God for the people that invented this drug.
