Root Canal Lingering Pain

by tmjohnson, Apr 27, 2008 10:38PM
I had a root canal retreat done 4 days ago on a back molar and though I'm not eating on that side if my teeth touch I have terrible pain that lingers in my face and toward my ear.  Is this normal and how long should it last? Also, will flying make it worse? Thankyou!

Post-op pain/discomfort of root canal may last weeks,OTC pain killer helps relieve the pain.
