I am now a 27yr old female, in later 2005 i was diagnosed with mild endometriosis throught laparoscopy. I was then told to start on Zoladex in November 2005 (DR said surgery would be too painful) for a 5 courses. During this i had servere side affects, hot flushes, moodiness, weight gain, loss of period, loss of libido etc... I was put on ad-back therepy to help. After the full course was finished (March06) the pain was worse and was put on morphene for the pain. I was then told to fall pregnant within the next 6-12 months otherwise conceiving would be hard if not impossible. I was put on clomid as my period had not returned by July of 06. After 6 months of fertility treatment through IVF i fell pregnant. Now my daughter is 8 months old and i still have no libido and no period. A doctor has told me it couldnt be the Zoladex that is stopping my period or causing the loss of libido. Do you have any answers for me? I have had my thyroid tested and all hormones and they are all normal. 3 different doctors have told me there is nothing wrong with me that they can find. I used to have a period every 2-6 weeks without fail and since the zoladex i have had no period at all, not even a little spotting. Please help i dont know what else to do.
