Hi,

There are cases wherein irritative urinary symptoms like increase in urinary frequency, burning pain during urination, urinary urgency and abdominal pain may be present in the absence of a bacterial infection. When the absence of a bacterial infection is noted, it is necessary to further evaluate the cause of the symptoms.

In your case was a kidney ,ureter and bladder ultrasound done? Was a CT scan of the kidney, ureter and bladder done?

Also, involvement of gynecologic structures need to be ruled out. When was the last time you had a pelvic examination done?

Also, it is important to note any significant sexual history and history of previous surgeries or instrumentation.

A differential for your case is a urethral syndrome. "Urethral syndrome refers to a primarily female syndrome in which women suffer from irritative bladder symptoms (urinary frequency, urgency, burning, and more) in the absence of any objective urologic findings. That is to say, when they under medical evaluation their physicians discover no specific findings to account for their symptoms. Because the symptoms of urethral syndrome are similar to symptoms common for many irritative bladder problems, the diagnosis of urethral syndrome is often delayed."

I suggest that you discuss this with your physician for proper management.
