any better solutions?

by PHAR111, Apr 28, 2008 06:33PM
Hi
i may have sjogren's because i have an ANA of 320:1 and joint pain, fatigue and recently dry eye
In the last two weeks i have been experiencing a lot of burning in my eyes- i use eye drops constantly; i probably shoulnt, but the only thing that works for a little while is tobradex- maybe because of the antiinflammatory drug in it.
these burning eyes are interfering with everything i need to do-
are there any better solutions that are easy ( and hopefull cheap)?
thanks!

Use the search feature and retrieve the many extended and informing discussions we've had on the eye forums on dry eyes.

The cheapest thing is to have your Eye MD put in tear duct plugs. The most effective thing would be to go on Restasis eye drops.
