When i was in my teens i had contracted anal warts... funny thing was i've never done anal intercourse and the warts were only located there. I then had surgery and they were all removed and have never had an outbreak. But 7 years later i contracted molescum contagious and so did my partner except his were in the genital area where as mine were on the cheeks of my butt we both had burnt them with the home kit wart remover because the dermotologist had said to to that.  The 6 months of this constant burning of the lesions and popping them getting the heart of the pimple. Now its been a year and not a outbreak since.  My question is am i going to have this for life (the gift that keeps on giving) and because of having warts in my past is my immune system more susceptible to MCV.

I'm confused, when you talk about "the gift that keeps on giving" are you talking about HPV or MCV?  MCV and HPV are two different things, as I'm sure you know.  It sounds like you haven't had a genital wart outbreak in quite some time.  The rule of thumb advised by experts is that if you've been wart free for 6+ months, you can consider yourself non-contagious and unlikely to have another outbreak.  You can believe this more confidently after 24 months without an outbreak, for sure.  HPV is controlled by the body's immune system in time, and goes latent.  Sort of similar to chicken pox and other viral infections.  So if you were talking about HPV, then no, you won't be bothered by HPV any longer.

I had a Question, im still waitng to get into my doc for my test...but if u have hpv (warts) up inside the Vagina (cervix) can those be treated to.. or is it just the ones on the outside ? If so do u know how they do it?

They can be treated, though sometimes treatment is a bit trickier because of the location.  Some doctors choose not to treat internal warts, others still do.  There are certain treatments that can be used externally that can not be used internally.  I am not sure as to all the methods that can be used internally, but I know surgical methods and cryotherapy are two commonly used ones in treating internal vaginal warts.  Imiquimod (Aldara cream) is one treatment that is typically not used in the treatment of internal vaginal warts, but works quite well in females in the treatment of external warts.

I only say "the gift that keeps on giving" because thats how my boyfriend refers it as, but explaining it to him well you believe what you want to. I just needed some reassurance for my mind just because you read so many different things.

ok thanks 4 the info ya hear about all the treatment 4 warts on the outside i was just wondering what they would do 4 them in they where on the inside....thanks again :)
