Hi there..I have a large mass in the left side front abdomen, this causes alot of lion pain.I have had blood test come back with imflomation.all other test back okay,Im constantley knackerd with no strength and sleep 12hrs at a time.I dont feel hungery,my food just stays in my stomach untill I lie down and then it goes on it way.I had a motor bike crash 3yrs ago and 2yrs ago had a blunt force trauma to the same place"left of belly button".
It has taken my GP this long to send me for test,an ultra sound showed this may be my kidney?. They said that I was born with this,I dont think so some how I male 37 yrs old been in the Army two times..It has taken me this long to make them listen to me,I of to see a Urologyst when ever that may be.The wait loss is up to a stone now I eat every 3hrs to stop the pain, theres also been blood in my stools"not all the time". If anyone can shed light on this please.

Hi,

During your accident, were initial tests done? Was an abdominal CT scan done to assess any injury to the underlying structures?

A history of trauma is significant. If no abdominal CT scan was done initially, I suggest that you have one right now. I also advice that you seek a prompt referral to a gastroenterologist.Blood in the stools,an abdominal mass and associated pain require further attention. A colonoscopy may be indicated.

At this point, did the ultrasound show anything?
