Surely sounds like classic anxiety to me.  My advice to you is to have a medical work up to rule out anything (like a cardiac cause for the skipped beats)...and then if everything checks out....discuss anxiety treatments with your doc.

Especially with chest pain....while that is a VERY common anxiety symptom, it is better to get checked out, just to be safe.

Good luck to you.

Nursegirl, ever vigilent to an independent medical cause, has wisely suggested a check on your ticker might be a good idea -and I completely agree. But let's say you do that thing and you get the results that you are woefully healthy. Must be anxiety, then -or at least leaning that way. So go to the HealthPages and look at the FAQ on symptoms, which is nearly as long as the Hong Kong phone book. And you will find most or all of your sensations listed there.

And so, if your doc thinks anxiety and nothing else presents itself -then that's what you'll treat. And soon -is good. OK?
