Conception

I started my period April 13, 2008 it seemed to be a normal period that lasted 4-5 days. My boyfriend and I have had sex everyday from April 18 through April 26. Last night (April 28) I noticed some spotting--a normal discharge for this time of my cycle but there was a pink tone. I took an  early detection pregnancy test this morning(with 1st morning urine) and a faint 2nd blue line showed up which is an indicator that pregnancy is possible according to the test guidelines. Is it possible that the spotting midcycle is an indication of pregnancy or implantation this early or could it just be a hormonal fluctuation mid cycle?  My periods range from a 23day cycle to a 36 day cycle and I am 36 years old. Please Advise. Thank You.

Yes, it is possible.  Conception normally takes place 7-10 dpo, so it could be implantation bleeding.  If you got a + hpt, I'd say you are probably pregnant.  False positives are rare in most women.  May want to take another test in a couple of days to confirm and make an appt. with your doctor.
