Infart in the brain

by ashwinz7, Apr 29, 2008 01:30PM
Hi. I am writing for my mom. She is a Pacemaker patient and has had 2 Operations. During the 2nd Operation it was found that there was a Infart in the brain which can be removed only wiith the help of a MRI scan. However she cannot take the scan due to her Pacemaker. Due to the Infart she keeps Vomitting whatever food she eats 10 to 15 minutes after eating it. We are in Chennai, India. None of the doctors here have been able to find a solution for this problem. She has had it for about 3 years now. I would really appreciate it if anyone could find a solution for this problem.

P.S. Sorry if I posted in the wrong forum. Didn't know where to post this

An infarct is usually a blood clot that interrupts the flow of blood.  There are medications that sometimes can dissolve the clots, other than that it may require a surgical operation.  You may want to post the question to the expert forum.  Scroll down and to the left for the link.
