I HAVE 6 PORCELAIN CROWNS ON GOLDPOSTS (FRONT TEETH) SINCE 1978 AND AM LOOKING TO UPDATE/REPLACE THEM IN THE NEAR FUTURE.WHAT DOES THE PROCESSINVOLVE IN THE WAY OF REMOVING EXSISTING CROWNS(HOW DOES THE DENTIST GET THEM OFF?) WHAT WILL I EXPECT IN THE WAY OF THE PROCESS,TREATMENT AND LASTLY COULD I BE SEDATED? THANKYOU FOR YOUR TIME AND I LOOK FORWARD TO RECEIVING YOUR REPLY,KINDEST REGARDS,TRACEY

Cutting each crown into 2 pieces will facilitate removal of old crown without jeoparding the internal tooth.
