thyroid size vs. blood tests

My blood tests (tsh, free t3, t4) were all normal.  but when i had an ultrasound done, the tech told me my thyroid was smaller than it should be.
I have alot of the hypothyroid symptoms such as extreme fatigue, being cold, insomnia and hair loss but my doctor told me I don't have  a problem since my blood tests were normal. is that true?

This discussion is related to Normal Thyroid Size?.
