advice please cist found

i rrecently went for a scan and they found a sist my consultant says its healthy as i was ovulating a woman forms a sist to realese the egg is this true as i have my doubts thanxxxxx

Your ultrasound technician was absolutely right... During our cycle, each and every one of us form tiny little cysts, that is definitely not uncommon. Although, i would keep an eye on it. If it's not causing you any problems and your not in any pain, I would wait a month or so and maybe ask your physician if you can have another ultrasound. Some women get cysts regularly that do not go away with their period. They form during ovulation, but they remain on the ovary. Depending on how big your cyst was, I would just keep an eye on it. Don't worry though, small ovarian cysts are completely normal with our cycles.
