What is IUGR? My baby weighed 2lbs 14oz at 29 weeks and the doctor said yesterday that he weighs 4 lbs now which I am about 33 weeks.

IUGR is Intrauterine growth restriction, its when baby does not grow as it should, I think that weight for 29 weeksis good, but normaly if someone has history of iugr the docs will monitor and scan baby to check growth, Good luck
