tummy tuck results

I had a tummy tuck with liposuction 12 months ago.  I am still swollen and sometimes my stomach looks distorted.  I have not put on any extra weight since surgery.I am so frustrated because at times it hurts like a pulling feeling.  I went back to the doctor a couple of times and he tells me  to wear a ace band around me tight and i do but it does't help.  Is this normal and if so how much longer does it take. i cannot exercise at all or lift anything heavy because it will swell even more. What more can i do?  thank you Guarco

At twelve months post surgery, your problem is not typical.  I agree that an ace wrap is not the solution.  It may be worth getting a second opinion.

IF MY SWOLLEN TUMMY TUCK AT 12 months is typical, what is it from and what can i do about it. your answer was not what i expected

Your swelling post tummy tuck could be due to any number of reasons, including disruption of the muscle fascia sutures, residual fat from either weight gain or limited fat removal at the time of surgery, or fluid retention.  It would be impossible to determine the exact cause without an examination.
