Bumps on penis - like sweat pimples or goose bumps??? urgent help

by phenix, Apr 30, 2008 02:27AM
hi, i have these small bmps like sweat pimples or goose bumps on my shaft, and testicles and a litlle section a bit higher on the side...

they look similar to when you pull your hair...

in some spts there are 2 hairs coming out one bump but the bumps arnt just where i have hair...

they dont hurt or anything like that...

at the start i thought they were sweat pimples so i used the cream i use for them but they did nothing but fry out my skin so i am now using moisturiser???

i hadnt had sex for a good month or 2 when i noticed them, and i have now had them for around 3 weeks.

i have never had sex without protection and its always been with one girl who i know for certain has never done anything with another guy before me...

these bumps are all only on the out side of my skin...

if anything i had be bathing more then usual so i dont think its because i was dirty...

I would reallly prefer not to see a doctor, so advice needed, i am exteremely scared and depressed about it...

i had also asked my mum if she had used something different with the washing powder she said yes but has scine changed but the spots havnt gone nore has it appeared anywhere else...

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Hi,

This could be due to acne/imples/ or infection of the hair follicles called folliculitis or some bacterial infection/ fungal infction or some skin nodules etc.

Nothing can be said with surety without having a look at the lesions.

It would be best to reconsult your doctor about your symptoms if they do not resolve and get a proper clinical examination.

Keep the area clean and wear clothes washed in a few drops of chlorhexidine preferably and dried in the sun.

You could take oral antihistamine or antiallergic medications for the itching.

Let us know about what your doctor advises.

Regards.

How are you doing now?

Have you seen a doctor for your symptoms as yet?

Have you tried antihistamine medications? Has it helped with your symptoms?
