Spinal tenderness and gluten?

by MadredeFuego, Apr 30, 2008 09:44AM
Hi, I have a long history of abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, headaches, skin breakouts, joint pain, exhaustion and spinal tenderness/tingling.  I have gone gluten free for a long time, but when I got pregnant I ate gluten and all the symptoms were gone. I'm now 8 months post pardum and still eating some gluten. The stomach issues are significantly less than prior to pregnancy, but I still get headaches and a very, very sore spine. It feels like I'm bruised all the way up my spine, and I feel like I'm 80 years old (I"m only 30 and eat well, and excercise regularly).  Also I have a VERY hard time losing weight, especially after having the baby, but its a long time issue. I have been tested for celiac, negative, I've had a colonoscopy, negative, I have thyroid testing, negative. IBS has been thrown around, my chiropractor says gluten intolerance (severe).....anyone have thoughts? I'm so frustrated!

Thanks,
Madre de Fuego
