I have been on Prozac 10 mg for a little over a month now.  My doctor has now prescriped me Prozac 20mg.  I have serveral of the 10 mg still left.  Would taking 2 of the 10mg be the same as the new prescription of 20 mg.  I hate to waste the prescription for the 10 mg that I have already filled.  I failed to ask my doctor this and have called and put a call into the nurse, but she has not called me back and I didnt want to take 2 10mg without some advice.

Thank you!

Yes, it is exactly the same.  Its the number of mg prescribed that counts.
