Hello all,
I'm a 22 year old gay man, and awhile back I had an HIV exposure. I performed fellatio multiple times (over a period of months) on someone I knew, though never with ejaculation. Unfortunately, I frequently have canker sores/oral ulcers. I later found out he could have possibly had HIV (I am still unsure of his status as we're no longer in contact). Thus, 8 weeks after my last exposure I couldn't handle the anxiety any further and had an Oraquick test (blood sample) that came back negative, thankfully.
My questions are:
1. How reliable was my test result?
2. Do canker sores affect the transmission rate involved with fellatio?

Thanks. I appreciate your input. I want to go back to for another test but the thought is intimidating and I don't want to unless I just have to. Sigh

Obviously you still have anxiety issues over it. Testing is scary as hell, but the only way to lift the weight. Go get another so you feel better if that's what you need.
