Can anyone help?

I have been having reoccuring lower pelvic pain for nine months now.  I gave birth to my first child ten months ago.  I have seen three obgyns, a GI, two general surgeons, and many visits to my primary care doctor.  Every ultrasound I have shows something different, I generally have at least two small cysts and a build up of fluid.  The pain continues to get worse and I only have about three days out of the month where my symptoms aren't bothersome.  Anyone who has similar problems or help would be great.

I would suggest asking your Gynecologist to set you up with a Laparoscopy.  That is really the only sure fire way of determining what is causing you so much pain.

I have had symptoms since I was about 12, but just assumed the severe pain was normal with my periods. Well I started to have new symptoms about 6 months ago which were enough cause for concern for me to go in. I had a pap test and while al the results were normal, the doc pressed around and I told her when I had pain. She said she could feel a build up/thick tissue in there. With all the symptoms I had, the doc said I might have endometriosis. So they did one unltrasound and found two cysts on my left ovary, one of which was filled with a very dark fluid. They advised I schedule a laparoscopy a.s.a.p. This surgery was a week ago, and one of those cysts was a chocolate cyst, and as It turns out I have a much more severe case of this than they had thought or hoped, and I am only 22. I am new to all of this, but it seems odd to me that even though they have found cysts on your ovary they are still failing to act. Did they happen to tell you the size of the cysts? mine were 1 mm, and 3 mm, which are relatively small, but as you can see were still enough for them to suggest urgency of surgery.
the symptoms I have had are severe pain during menstration, painful tampon insertion and deep penetration, spotting throughout the month, sharp pain localized over my left ovary, sharp pelvic pain with coughing and sneezing, etc....If you have any of these symptoms I guess I would talk with an OBGYN about the possibility of laparoscopy. I have been lucky that the woman I goes to has listened to all my concerns and done what she thought would be necessary, despite my young age.
