Sound familiar to anyone???

by Wingfield, May 01, 2008 11:17AM
What does a "neuropathic features" of a biopsy on the vastus lateralis imply?  So far, my doctors tell me that my son probably has a neuromuscular disease but that we need to wait for more symptoms to show up before we know which one it is.  He has tested negative to Myotonic MD, which does run in my family.  I really need to know what symptoms to look for.  He has had an elevated CPK, aldolase, and AP for 16 months.  He has upper leg weakness that he says seems to be in his calf muscles as well but not everyday.  He has severe fatigue having to sleep an extra 15 hours one or two days of the week.  Help me if you might know where we can go from here.
Thanks!
