Pulmonary Aneurysm

Ok, I am hoping that someone can help me.  My mom is 53 years old and was in ok health until 06.  She was in a car accident where we thought that she had a really bad case of whip flash.  Later we found out that she has arnold chiari malformation.  She had a decompression surgery and things seemed to be doing great for her again until 6 months later when the pain from that came back with a vengeance.  She had another brain surgery where they removed scar tissue the size of a fist (remember this was only 6 months after her 1st surgery).  From that point on it seems like life as she knew it stopped.  She started having major trouble remembering things and she can not focus on anything because it hurts her head too much.  Less than a year ago she woke up and was complaining of a "Charlie horse" in the back of her leg.  When she went to the DR she was rushed over to the hospital because her oxygen level was in the low 70's.  That is where we found out that she had massive blood clots in her legs, lungs, and heart.  She was put on a whole new list of meds to help with this, but still was not getting any better.  Recently some test were ran on her and we where told that there are more blood clots even though she is on blood thinners and that she has moderate pulmonary hypertension.  I called her regular DR to fill him in and he looked at the results and told me that she also has a pulmonary aneurysm.  If anyone could make since out of what is going on with her please reply...  I understand and know about the arnold chiari malformation, but the rest of it I am so confused about.  Please any information or direction to where to find out about all these conditions would be very helpful and appreciated.
