Concerned with lack of period

by Curious04, May 01, 2008 02:20PM
I do have a doctors appoint scheduled, I am just looking for any useful information to compare what I have found on my own.
I stopped taking birth control pills back in august since then I've skipped a month and then followed the pattern of being and week and half late each month up until march when I didn't have a period including april now too.  I did have sex in Jan but it was protect, as well as he pulled out, but my period was normal to me in Feb. I was slightly worried that I may be pregnant and took 2 pregnant test both in april, and of which turn out to be negative.
I have read that it could be a hormonal imbalanced caused my stopping the pill, but I always have a history of having precancerous cells near my cervix (this I was cleared of back in Novemeber). So i gess my question is, what is the likely hood that I could still be pregnant (the only symptons I come close to have in tender breats and slight cramping ) I would think if I were pregnant and being 3months along that it would show up on the test, could it be something more serious or is it more reasonable to think it's just an hormonal balance?
Any thoughts would be apprecitated.

could still be pregnant......? i dont think you were pregnant in the first place. ESPECIALLY if you had sex in jan and took a test in april and it showed up negative i dont think you can go that many months and still not get a positive pregnancy test.  i would say its a hormonal imbalance because of going off the pills however it has been awhile maybe you should go to the doctor so they can help you
