You have no cause for special concern. Most HPV infections go away after a few months and do not return.  Therefore, you probably will not transmit the infection to a future sex partner.  Even when the mother is infected, transmission to the baby during delivery is not common.  To be safe, if or when a future mother of your child is pregnant, she can ask the obstetrician to be on the lookout for signs of HPV infection.  If warts are seen, the mother can be treated to proect the baby.  There is no need for in vitro fertilization ("test tube baby").

Look at it this way.  At least 50% of couples have HPV, or have had it in the past.  And how many babies have you ever heard about who had HPV at birth?  It happnes but it is rare and not something to worry about.

You also seem to have some misunderstanding about HPV and its symptoms.  Your itching, burning, and colored spots are not symptoms of HPV.  You should discuss those symptoms with your doctor or clinic to learn the real cause.

I hope this helps.  Best wishes--  HHH, MD
