My son who is 9 yrs old gets sick several times a year with vomiting, fever above 101f, lethargy that lasts several days. This happens every couple of months and the doctors just say he is unlucky. I am wondering if I should take him to the ER and request bloodwork and whatever kinds of tests are available to find out if there is an underlying condiion. Any suggestions??

my daughter is sensative like that too. she gets like that after a little wind hits her face. i hate that. but my duahgter is three yrs old. she needs to build up her ammune system. i would call other doctors and ask for opinions and see another pediatrician for second opinion
