Hi cleo...I am not sure it we have spoken before with so many new people it's hard to keep track! My name is Rena and I have been diagnosed with MS but have been told that my MS is inactive and therefore been refused treatment but it's a long story.
I hope that you are able to get the information you need from the MS Society and if not please post backBack pain - low Back strain treatment here again and if you state where you are I am sure we on the forum can find one for you between us.

I have a question though...were you diagnosed by an MS Specialist or by a neurologist? My recommendation would be to seek out an MS Specialist and provide him/her with your medical records including a copy of your MRI and results from an LP if you have them.
MS Specialists have a myriad of knowledge that a regular neurologist doesn't have and in just reading an MRI alone the MS Specialist has so much more history in reading them that they are better equipped to ensure you get the care and treatment that you need.
I don't know where you are located but if you look up your local chapter of the MS Society, they can probably point you in the direction of an MS Specialist. Usually a referral is required but you could obtain that from your family doctor.
I hope that you are able to get the information you need from the MS Society and if not please post back here again and if you state where you are I am sure we on the forum can find one for you between us.
Lots of Hugs,
Rena
I have an appointment with a neurologist in a month. Fast Saskatchewan health care!
Thank you for your help.
