Heat Intolerance

by Amanda300, May 03, 2008 01:49AM
I had hyperthyroidism primarily and slight hypothyroidism after i was on the medication for a while, a few years ago (and it's gone now. no other thyroid symptoms and I have a TFT every 6 months just in case) One of my symptoms was I couldn't adjust to heat or cold. I'd get heat stroke quite quickly and freeze as well even if it wasn't that cold or hot. I still have this. I've read that thyroid problems effect the Brown Adipose Tissue that effects temperature regulation and I wondered if anyone knows how that works exactly.
