A question about headaches and bad weather

by MJIthewriter, May 03, 2008 02:52AM
May 1 I was dealing with a terrible headache that shut me down for pretty much the rest of the day. It seemed like any sound, especially if it was a human voice made the pain worse.

I think when it was going on, trying to make words out of sound was a little bit more difficult than normal, thus causing the stress... I also felt like i was dreaming a very lucid dream even though I was awake. Yesterday I still had a leftover headache with some dizziness...

Anyways we eventually ended up with lots of rain and some thunder.  I'm thinking of taking note when I have bad headache days (when all my sinuses feel extremely sensitive and the back of my head hurts. It could also be a type of migrane.) and note T-storm days and see if there is any connection.

There probably isn't, but I found it interesting. It isn't the first time I had a bad day or few right before a weather system. I've also had headaches other times too...

Anyways if your kid appears to be very grumpy on some days, I wonder if they could be dealing with a similar type headache?

I know my dad mentioned one autistic person we know who would get pretty grumpy when the pressure outside dropped.

It'd be interesting to see if autistic behaviors get worse at such times..

For me I notice right in the midst of a T-storm I tend to go manic (the more severe the storm, the more hyper I get), or at least have a sudden surge of energy that I didn't have before the storm.
