I am VERY scared....

by mommyB_3122, May 03, 2008 02:59AM
This isn't really a question more a vent session- Sooo I'm 30 years old and a mother of an autistic 10 year old and a 5 year old(who is not autistic.)  I recently found out I was pregnant and am petrified.  (Both of my previous pregnancy's were not planned.)  Both times I was scared but this time I feel like I just WILL NOT be able to do it.  I am VERY pro- life so that is not an option.  Both of my children demand a lot of attention and I feel I won't be able to give myself to them the way I do now.  I have been with my Boyfriend for 7 years now and he's trying to understand how I feel but I know he NEVER could or will.  Our relationship has always been rocky so this REALLY puts a toll on things as well.

Thanks for reading this......

hello, i don't know what i can say expect that it must be hard. especially since autistic children demand alot more attention. Do you have family that could help you with your children? and how do you feel about adoption? i know that is probably the farthest thing from your mind, as mothers we want to do whats best for our children and we want them to be happy and we want to be the best mothers we can and if you feel like it would be hard on you all maybe you could do an open adoption, hope you dont take this as me saying you couldn't handle all three im just saying it as a possible option.

I know this is what most people would say but--- It would be sooo hard to have a baby out there that wasn't really mine :o(  I do have a VERY supportive family but they are VERY busy with their own lives most of the time.  It's early and I'm just overwhelmed.  Thanks so much for your comment though.  It's just really nice to have someone listen.
