opiate addiction

Hey all....I am in dire need of some of your help here.  I had joined this community back when I first thought I had kicked opiates.  I had quit for two months and relapsed beginning with norcos and vicodin and even got a hold of some fentanyl patches I used for about three weeks..I haven't used a patch in over three days and did experience some withdrawal effects that I tried to ease with some norcos.  However,  I want to be done done done with all of these.  I realize that I will have some withdrawal effects due to stopping the pills as well which is going to happen today.  My question is what can I do to ease them?  I am on antidepressants so I'm not sure the Thomas Recipe would work for me.   And, I have to wait tables tonight and work a benefit tomorrow so I still have to be able to function.   I just want to go through it and get it over with.  Any suggestions?????

Hey welcome back !   Sorry but there not a whole lot that really helps.  Immodium is one, exspecially if you are working.  Hot baths and maybe some over the counter sleep meds.
This is the social side and you will probably get alot more responces if you post this on the addiction side. At the top in blue , click where it says Substance Abuse Addiction Community.  Others will respond.  Hang in there.  Mary

You can't do one narcotic to get over another narcotic. If you just don't put any more in you you should be fine in a few days from the pills.

The only part of Thomas Recipe that you shouldnt do with antidepressants would be the Amino Acids, otherwise everything else is still good.....take advantage of everything that might help - - and good luck
