pain in right upper leg

I have been diagnosed with cervical degenerative & perfarated disc. I have received 2 pain injections in my upper back above the spine the 2nd injection has helped the neck pain. I had the last one 2 weeks ago. I woke up yesterday and had a sharp pain in my right upper leg almost toward the inner joint of my leg and back end area, it has been 2 days and the pain has not subsided I tried heat pad, whirlpool, therapedic rub, ibupropen, and it hurst to get out of bed, walk down stairs, sit. Is this just I slept wrong? Should I call my nero doc? Is this related to my cervical spine?
Any help would be greatly appreciated
P.s I am 42 incase that makes a diffrence
