had a endo biopsy april 23rd , well i waited until lastnight to have relations with my hubby and was wondering why it burns durning it . is it because im still trying to heal ?  it almost felt like i was being rubbed raw inside.  it wasnt extremely painful but enough to know it wasnt comfy !also i notice when i sit up it burns in my pelvic and ovary region and sometimes get sharp pains in lower abd.  im just a lil concered also having a colposcopy done next wed .  pap came back abnormal squamosis cells and high risk hpv poss.  have 16wk enlarged uterus  tumors /masses  , have 2cm thick endometruim lining with it pushed to the left, have multiple ovarian cysts on right ovary , biggest being 1cm , and have small follicles on left ovary. no fluid in cul de sac . uterus size went from 12wk to 16 wks in a year and half, umm endometruim lining went from 13mm to 2cm in  7 yrs , ovarain cyst 1cm has been there since 2001 unless it reformed again to that size some time in between 2001 and now . and had others developein the mean time. anyways i hope the info i posted wasnt too much lol   thank you for your advice .....2young

Hello,

My suggestion is that you continue to follow up with the gyn presently following you.  With a large fibroid uterus and multiple ovarian cysts you have many possible etiologies for pain.  Close follow up will be helpful.

Best regards,

Dr. Downing
