Therapy

by Gayle87, May 03, 2008 06:18PM
For years I have been receiving therapy twice a week for BPD.  Last week my therapist said that we are now going to only meet once a week.  He said it is due to out issues of  not communicating with each other and my problems of acting out after therapy and also we have been arguing a lot during our sessions.  I just don't seem to be getting better and I am very frustrated.  I also have a hard time being honest at times with my therapist and I am becoming very depressed.  I often go to bed at time and pray to God that I don't wake up.

If your not happy with your psychiatrist I would get one that is willing to listen to you and not one who drops your session time due to his being uncomfortable. That man is getting a nice pay day from your insurance and he should do hid job and help you...not decrees time with you. He sees that you are angry, so he sees you less? Make no since, sounds like a doc that is working for the love of money not the love of helping people. Trust me, you may have to see several doctors to finally get the one that actually helps you. I have woke up everyday for the past twelve years...asking "god, why did you let me wake up?" It is a horrible feeling. Are you on any medication? I was treated for years with depression meds when what I really needed was anti-psychotics.Needless to say, I still was unhappy. I would strongly suggest that if you want to be happy.. see a psychiatrist that is willing to help you. Get rid of this Guy.
