Breast lumps and burning pain

by 415shane, May 04, 2008 12:40AM
I was in a head on collision in December 2007, and my left breast was badly bruised from the seatbelt.  I felt like my breast was on fire and burning from the inside out, the breast became black, purple, blue and yellow very badly bruised.    I noticed in March that my left breast now has many hard irregular lumps and it burns constantly.

I've had additional mammograms and ultrasounds done, and everyone tells me not to worry.  I just don't feel right and I worry of breast cancer.  I was on estrogen therapy for over 15+ years after having a hysterectomy when I was 27 years old.   My breast are very dense to begin with, and I wear a 42D in a bra, the burning pain is constant even with out a bra on. Should I be worried?

Seatbelt injuries can cause fat necrosis, which can result in lumps. I don't know about the pain, but you might want to look up fat necrosis to see if some people get associated pain. It is a benign condition.
