3 years and 4 months NON STOP HEADACHE

by keegs257, May 04, 2008 01:09AM
Hey, my names keegan and i am a 24 yr old male from Australia . I have had a non stop headache for 3 years and 4 months, ive seen about 40 health specialts including Pycholigists, Pyschiatrists, Neuroligists, had scans, had every alternative therpay avaliable, tried anti deps, anti anxiety meds and basically everybody agrees it is still psychological. They say in rare cases trauma at a young age can come back in pyshical symptons later in life. The pain has also spread through face and ears and down arms at times.Sometimes after going to pyshios or chiros my pain levels go down but they have never once left. I have been close to suicidal from the chronic pain and now i spend most my time trying to get my mind of the pain because it becomes self obsessive and you become narcisitic. So my question is has anybody heard of anxiety related incidents in childhood causing chronic pain to somebody 15 years later for years on end?  Its a living hell but i am trying to have hope that healing is possible.
i dont really know how this site works but I would love to hear from you

Hello dear,
Definitely there are some psychological factors which cause headache. It is only you who can help yourself.Do not get panicky, increase your will power and try to find the cause.Try meditation and relax your mind, think positive, enjoy as much as you can and surely you will find good results.Try to overcome your anxiety and trust the Almighty.
All the best.

have you tryed sumatriptan for the pain?  i have the same thing your describing,  but i do have periods of remmission..  maybe only a few hours at the most.  for the most part i take sumatriptan for the pain.  i have no idea why it works but it works for me. if you've been on it than maybe it doesnt work,  but if you havent been on it, ask your doc about it.  hope any of this helps!
