Hi,

I have been suffering from constant tiredness every day for the last week, despite having had a average, or above average, amount of sleep i.e. 8 hours per night. I have had difficulty concentrating at times and have fallen asleep at 9pm (instead of 12pm as usual). Also, I have felt hungry 30 minutes or so after eating, especially in the evenings.

The feeling of being tired is felt through my eyes mostly, which feel like they want to sleep at most times of the day except when I am especially pre-occupied with work. To my recollection I have never felt so tired for such a long period of time before.

This has all started happening following a business trip abroad where I was getting around 6 hours of sleep per night for 5 days. The time difference was only 1 hour so it wouldn't be caused by that shift.

I have not been exercising regularly, although have been trying to change this recently by becoming more active.

Many thanks for your help.

Some people have suffered fatigue from jet lag for a week. If this continues, I suggest you see your MD and get checked.
