As a BC survivor, I have learned that lesion often refers to being a tumor/mass.
I too had a ct scan and mine says I have a cystic lesion in the posterolateral panchyma of the mid right kidney..haven't a clue what the heck that means...but I do not like the word lesion in the diagnoses.
Do you live near a mayoclinic? Or call a specialist and get some answers, that is what these reports are about..
good luck!!
I do know that leasions can be benign and it can be cancerous. These wordings scare the dickens out of me. I called my doctor for him to explain this to me but once again....He's on vacation. So now I have to wait until he gets back. He'll be boggled down with so many call backs and who knows when he'll call me.
Any ideas?
Thanks!
