Whiteness on MRI?? What could it be?

by lilhollywood, May 04, 2008 01:10PM
So I went and got an MRI done 3 weeks after gettin into a car wreck and hitting the windshield head on. I had a serious concussion and was asleep for two days.

My question is that my results came back with a 1.2cm lesion near my medulla and my mri had whiteish area near my cerebellum and they have no idea what it is, my question is what could the whiteness be? Bleeding?tumor?cancer? lemme know what you think!  Dont forget my MRI was done 3 weeks after the accident and it was with contrast.Im all for biopsy so they can make sure its nothing.

My symptoms are...
When I woke up I had and still have double vision, occasional pain behind the eyes for a moment, I use to get tied real easy right after the accident but now its like I cant sleep cause my mind is racing. Serious head concussion That about it.
Lemme know what you think It may be, anything will elp
thanks
