But for me it took about 3 weeks before I started really getting enough energy back to want to do anything. The first week was the worst of course... but somewhere in the third or fourth week, my motivation really started coming back enough to find doing some things enjoyable. At first, it was just little things - like I started enjoying and wanting to listen to music, then I actually felt like going out and buying something, etc... it starts small but slowly you get your old self back.
