Need for concern or just paranoia?

by n0xcg3, May 05, 2008 12:22AM
I am a 23 year old male. In late 2005 I had unprotected vaginal intercourse with the same girl several times. After a few encounters, I noticed a large red bump on the base of my penis. It looked more like acne than anything else, it did have green ooze(puss) and a head. Within a month I fell terribly ill with a fever, soreness, sore throat, coughing, and congestion. I was incapacitated for a day, and quickly recovered within three days. This is only the second time I can recall ever being sick with a cold, flu, etc. I also recall my roommates being sick around the same time, however not to the same extent. After several months I noticed two lesions on my back. They were oddly placed and seemed nothing more than a sore from my girlfriend squeezing a zit on my back. The two sores lasted 3-5 weeks and have healed into strange looking scars.
Since then I have had weight fluxuations, depending on my job, no colds or sickness per say. I have experienced bouts of strong anxiety in public places with the fear of syncope in public. I have also developed nearsightedness and eye jerking and less-than-five-seconds bouts of vertigo.
I have had several physicals since then, and have described these issues to the doctor, usually to be perscribed with anti-anxiety medicine, which I do not take often. I have not had blood-work done in several years, mainly due to my fear of passing out.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

This sounds like the flu, some acne, and an anxiety disorder.

I would explore the anti-anxiety meds again, and they really can help but you do need to take them regularly.
