MRSA Disease Explanation

by cin1421, May 05, 2008 09:47AM
How does MRSA affect the patient and what is the typical progression of the disease.  I have heard it is a tissue destroying disease but would you provide me with a detailed explanation of what can happen as it progresses.  I have just learned that a friend's 23 year old son has it and want to know what it is, what to expect and what it could do.  The articles I have been able to find are about prevention and how to treat but not the symptoms or what it does.  Thank you for your information.
