Urinary infection or Yeast infection???

by Jenivy, May 05, 2008 01:31PM
I recently have been getting a lot of mucus come out when I urinate & for the past 2 days I've discovered it has traces of blood slighty redish almost pink & brown, like if I was spotting. It only occurs when I urinate but not every single time. My period isn't due for another 2 weeks so I know it's not that. I'm not sure if its a yeast infection becuase the stuff coming out isn't like "cottage cheese", it's more like a runny mucus.  Also, I don't have any itching or burning. I know to some extent this can be normal in some cases but it's been happening a lot & now with the blood in it, I'm a bit concerned. I've also felt a bit bloated occasionally & had a bit of stomach pain but not often. I know all this sounds like menstration symptoms but, I know it can't be. I had my period 2 weeks ago so I'm not due for another 2 weeks for it again. Any ideas as to what this can be? Also, just in case, I know I'm not pregnant & my only partner is my husband.
