First doc. visit!

Hello ladies!  I hope all is going well and everyone is doing great!  I had my first doc. visit today!  I was nervous but it went well.  Im 8 weeks and 3 days preggo!  We tried to hear the heart beat but couldnt hear it, just heard mine and the blood going to the placenta (which was cool!)  He said my uterus seems to be growing just fine and my cervix is closed and a blueish color (which i guess is good)  All in all he said things were going well, and i see him again on May 27th!

wow EXCITING NEWS!! Glad to hear things are going well for you! Ilove hearing when folks are doing great!

Im 10 wks today myself.  And I hope to hear the heartbeat in another week or so.  Ive seen it beating away on a sonogram and thats is really neat this little "bean" heart working away. I think the entire pregnancy gets less scary as you get closer to your 12wk.  You are right behind me! How exciting!

Glad to hear that your appt. went well!  I rented a doppler from storkradio.com (I'm 8 weeks, 6 days today) and it's the BEST ever......I use it like 2x/day (I'm a nervous freak due to a M/C in Dec.) and every time the heartbeat is loud and clear!  Check them out....it was like $250 or so for 6 months...so worth it to me!

Thanks so much i will look into that.  Fortunately i get to see him in 3 weeks so i would assume he will hear it then!  But thanks again for the advice!
