I'm just not sure what type of doctor to see and what methods will they use to remove them?
I spoke with someone who had them removed using condylox gel and he said it took 3 days on, 2 days off, and then 3 days on again but he said it was amazingly painfulPainful menstrual periods. He didn't tell me what type of doctor he went to though.
So, what type of Dr would I seek treatment with and what type of removal would you recommend?
Doctors differ in their recommendation of treatment. It depends on what the doctor prefers and what they believe will work best in each patientKidney diet - dialysis patients. There is no "better" or best method compared to others, they work differently in different people. Many options are available though, from cryotherapy (freezing), electrocautery (burning), TCA (acid), surgical methods (cutting, laserLaser surgery Laser therapy Lasik eye surgery Lithotripsy Retinal detachment repair, etc.), and at home creams such as condylox and aldara. Only your doctor will be able to recommend what method is right for you.
I'd see a doctor and find out what these bumps really are once and for all, since it sounds like you've let them go awhile and they haven't been officially diagnosed. Perhaps this is HPVGenital warts, perhaps it isn't. Only a doctor can tell you, which is more reason to get to one promptly :).
